The method

Four details in, a whole chart out

What we ask for, what we work out from it, and where the answers come from. Three steps, and no astrology background needed to follow them.

01

You give four details

Your name

Only so the readings address you. It is not used in any calculation.

Date of birth

Fixes where the nine planets sat on the day you were born.

Time of birth

Sets your rising sign, which moves through all twelve signs every day. Four minutes out moves it by about a degree.

City of birth

Picked from a map, so the coordinates are exact rather than a guess, along with the time zone that applied that day.

If you do not know your exact birth time, you can still use the app. It will tell you which parts of a reading depend on it, so you know what to trust and what to hold loosely, rather than quietly guessing.

02

We prepare your chart

Our own engine does the maths, using your birth coordinates and the time zone that applied on the day you were born rather than today’s. India changed its clocks in 1945, 1962 and 1971, and a chart that ignores that is wrong in a way you would never spot. Here is what comes out:

Your rising sign and twelve houses

The framework everything else in the chart is read against.

All sixteen divisional charts

Not just the main one. Each divisional chart looks at the same birth moment from a different angle, which is what separates a marriage question from a career one.

Your dasha timeline

Which planetary period you are running, and its sub-periods. This is what lets an answer give you a date rather than a mood.

Yogas and doshas

The full catalogue with strength readings, including the dosha cancellations most free calculators quietly skip.

Live transits

Where each planet is right now against your natal houses, with the date it entered and the date it leaves.

It takes seconds.

03

You ask anything

Type a question, or call and ask out loud. Either way the answer is read from your chart, and it names the placement it came from so you can check it.

Five astrologers cover different ground, and you can switch between them mid-conversation without starting over. It works in eleven Indian languages.

How to tell a real reading from a generated one

Ask why. If the answer names a placement, it came from your chart. If it only offers adjectives, it is a horoscope with your name on it.
